Welcome to the Hull Central Neighbourhood Policing Area

About Hull Central

Welcome to the Hull Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, which covers the wards of St Andrews and Docklands and Central.

This policing area covers a much larger and busier area than you might first think. It includes the vibrant city centre, retail areas, transport hubs and surrounding areas including parts of Beverley Road, Anlaby Road, Spring bank and Hessle Road.

We have a dedicated, diverse and friendly team of officers committed to reducing crime and antisocial behaviour in our area, working with our partners to make it a safe place to work, live and visit. We cover many events in the city centre too so if you see us out on patrol come and say hello.

Update From Inspector Caroline Andrews

We are your Neighbourhood Policing Team for the Hull Central area.  We are dedicated to engaging with our communities by listening to your concerns through Humber Talking where we attend houses to speak to residents directly. This enables us through partnership working to address concerns and look at long term problem solving.  Alongside the residential areas we also have a number of local businesses, retail chains, schools, restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs to name but a few.  All of the staff here are proud to work within such a diverse area and committed to putting our communities at the heart of all we do.

We are keen to hear from residents regarding any information on criminal activity including drug related offending this enables us to develop intelligence and then taken enforcement action.  The team regularly execute warrants to target those involved in supplying drugs and a large proportion of these are due to the information supplied by members of the public.  Similarly if you witness or are a victim of antisocial behaviour or crime please make contact with us to enable us to help.

If you have not already done so please sign up to My Community Alert to receive the latest information for what is happening in your area.
