Our area is really vibrant and has some stunning features from the magnificent Humber Bridge and Hessle foreshore to the picturesque villages of Willerby, Kirk Ella, North Ferriby, Swanland, to name just a few.

We are an extremely dedicated team of police officers, police community support officers and support staff. Working closely with the public and other agencies to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour, building safer and stronger communities.

We are here to keep you safe and be visible in the right area at the right time. If you see us out and about please stop and say hello and tell us about anything that is causing issues in your area.

Update From Inspector Philip Hinch

I have over 26 years policing experience, working in both neighbourhood and response policing roles. I’ve worked for a long time in community policing, as a beat manager, beat sergeant, and now I’m proudly the Inspector in the Neighbourhood team for Beverley and Holderness.

With such a large, rural area we know that we cannot be everywhere all the time so we need to know from our resident what is important to them.

My team are always happy to hear about what is important to our residents.  We want about the main problems and what our local residents feel are the most important things they want us to prioritise in the short, medium and long term.

Across the Force area we have been conducting a survey of every household, called #HumberTalking.  We are coming to your area during the course of the year but there are lots of community events and meetings we attend where you can speak to us.

The team currently operate from a number of police bases at Beverley,Kirk Ella, Brough, Cottingham, Hedon and Withernsea.

We are committed to building stronger links within the community reducing crime and the fear of crime keeping you safe being visible in the right area at the right time.

One of the best ways of keeping in touch with what we are doing in your area is to follow our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter and of course keep an eye on the website for news stories.
