Chief Officer Group (COG) meetings

In recognition of the need to have regard to the public interest in allowing access to public information held, and in the publication of reasons for decisions made, ratified minutes of the ‘open' session of formal Force level decision making meetings are published.

They contain discussion of key strategic issues under consideration and the primary decisions relating to resource and budgetary matters. Minutes of the 'closed' session are not available under this publication scheme. They contain information of a confidential and sensitive nature, e.g. personnel, security matters and commercial interests.

Details of approved Open session minutes of Chief Officer Group meetings are available on this page. Please note that  ffter twenty four months they will be removed from the site and archived.
