Do you recognise this man?

Detectives would like to speak to the man shown in this footage in relation to an alleged assault on Sunday September 4, 2016.

Just after 7.15am on Sunday morning (4th September, 2016) as a 25-year-old Hull man was walking down Spring Bank, it is alleged he was assaulted and had his black Microsoft Lumia mobile phone stolen in the process.

It is thought the person shown in the moving footage may have been involved and may have walked from the direction of Hull City Centre before the incident.

Robbery

Hull: Did you witness this incident? If so call 101.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a robbery on Blackfrigate, Hull at 7.50pm yesterday (Tuesday 23 August).

A 48-year-old woman was approaching her car when an unknown man threatened her, before demanding her money and the car. 

Fearing for her safety she handed over some money and a car key. The offender briefly entered the car but left the area on foot.

Officers are looking to trace three key witnesses to an alleged assault at the Portland Hotel, Paragon Street, Hull at just before 9.30pm on Sunday 7 August.

An 18-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by another man in the reception at the hotel.

Two teenagers have been charged with robbery following reports of the theft of a grey Skoda Fabia, close to the Holy Trinity Church, South Church Side.
The 13-year-old and 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear before Hull and Holderness Youth Court today.

Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident outside a Hull church today.

Officers were called at shortly after 1.30pm today (Sunday, Aug 7), following reports of the suspected robbery of a grey Skoda Fabia, close to te Holy Trinity Church, South Church Side.

Criminal Behaviour Order issued

Operation Impact – Making a difference in your area.

Matthew McNamara has been issued a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in the Myton area (Hull City Centre) which makes it a criminal offence for him to beg or ask strangers for valuables in the street.

The law says a person does not have to be seen begging, showing an intention to beg is still breaking the law.

Spike in thefts from vehicles

Hull: Public urged to keep their cars secure and keep property out of view

Police are urging motorists to take steps to protect their vehicles after 15 thefts from vehicles in the Riverside area of Hull in two weeks (between Monday 21 March and Monday 4 April). 

Nearly three quarters of the incidents involved offenders smashing a window to steal items left on display and in the majority of cases resulted in Sat-Navs and money being stolen.

Any member of the community can go along and talk to local officers and PCSO's, council workers and people from Fire and Rescue about issues you face. What you say at these meetings will help the policing teams decide how they should focus their resources in your area.
