Pocklington Rugby Sevens
Police at Pocklington report a largely uneventful evening in the town following the annual Rugby Sevens event on Good Friday, 6th April 2012.
Close liaison was maintained with event organisers and with local licensees throughout the day and evening with 18 officers (comprising Neighbourhood Team staff and Special Constables) specifically working to provide high visibility patrols in the area. Two £80 Penalty Notices for Disorder and four notices requiring people not to return to the town centre were issued during the course of the evening.
