INCREASE IN VEHICLE CRIME
Over the last week or so, there has been an increase in vehicle crime within Beverley, notably around the Beckside area, but everywhere is vulnerable.
A Land Rover Defender was stolen from Walkington.
The key part of this information is that in the majority of cases, the theft from the vehicles have been from insecure cars.
Please ensure cars are locked and items are removed from vehicles.
Woodmansey Update
There were no criminal offences reported in Woodmansey during the month of February which is very good news. There was a stop check of three suspicious males seen in the early hours of 26th February in the Woodmansey area. All of these males were well recorded criminally and were obviously up to no good. The group were cleared from the area.
