APPEAL FOR WITNESSES TO A FATAL ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION - HESSLE
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision that happened on Priory Way, Hull between Sainsbury Way and Hessle Road at 2105hrs on Thursday 26 January 2012.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision that happened on Priory Way, Hull between Sainsbury Way and Hessle Road at 2105hrs on Thursday 26 January 2012.
A dark coloured Porsche 911 was travelling from Hessle road roundabout towards the A63, when it was in collision with a black coloured Mercedes, which was travelling along Priory Way.
The Mercedes then collided with a Fiat Stilo, as a result of the collision.
The driver of the Porsche, believed to be a 37-year-old man, was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where he is being treated for serious injuries.
The passenger, travelling in the Porsche, a 30-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes and the Fiat Stilo sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Ambulance and Fire Service were in attendance at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Humberside Police tel 101 quoting log 626 26 January 2012.
