The website is regularly updated by members of the Humberside Police news and media team, and police officers from a number of Neighbourhoods across the force area.  

The information included will range from specific information for each of the force areas - Grimsby, Scunthorpe, East Riding and Hull, to forcewide information and updates on current campaigns.

East Riding: Burton Pidsea burglary - Two charged with burglary

October 30, 2014

Humberside Police received a call from a member of the public who reported burglary in progress near Burton Pidsea, Holderness at 1330hrs on Tuesday 28 October 2014. Police located and followed the vehicle with the assistance of the police helicopter through the villages of Holderness, along the A1033 onto the A63 where the vehicle was stopped and one man was arrested and taken into custody.

Humberside Police: East Riding Operation Achilles 2014

Operation Achilles operates in the East Riding of Yorkshire to combat motorcyclists riding dangerously and at excessive speeds. Officers from the Humberside Police Roads Policing Unit use an unmarked Suzuki GSXR1300 Hayabusa motorcycle which captures video evidence of offences using digital recording equipment. Offenders are stopped and prosecuted for any offences that have come to light.

Hull: offender charged with burglary offence in Hull

Humberside Police arrested a 20-year-old man at an address on Conway Close, Hull yesterday evening (Tuesday 28 October 2014) after he was linked with a previously reported burglary on Perry Street, Hull on Sunday 17 August 2014. The man, 20-year-old Cobain John Pearson of Hawthorn Avenue, Hull was charged with burglary dwelling and theft – no violence and has been remanded to appear at Hull and Holderness Magistrates Court on Thursday 30 October 2014.
