Robbery of security guard outside bank

Hessle: Witnesses urged to call 101 and help bring the offenders to justice

We are appealing for information after a robbery outside the Barclays Bank, Ferriby Road, Hessle at 1.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 28 March).

During the incident a security guard was threatened by two men while near his security van and a case was stolen.

The offenders then left the area in a red Renault Clio. The security guard was unhurt in the incident.

Cash stolen in burglary

We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a business on Twydale Business Park in Skerne Road, Driffield between 9pm on Sunday 26 March and 7.50 the following morning.

In the incident someone forced entry into the building and stole cash and various electrical items.

Girl assaulted

Grimsby: Help us trace this man

We need to trace a man who assaulted a girl in Grimsby at around 9.15pm on Saturday 18 March.

The man approached two teenagers at the junction of Sixhills Street and Convamore Road. He then assaulted the girl causing a fractured wrist and bruising to her face.

Robber jailed for 4 years and 8 months

Cleethorpes: Help us identify two other men involved in serious robbery

At Grimsby Crown Court on Friday 24 March, 23-year-old Zane French of Granville Street, Grimsby pleaded guilty to robbery, being concerned in the supply of cannabis and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

He was sentenced to 4 years 8 months in prison.

Man arrested after two sexual assaults

Scunthorpe: Appeal for witnesses launched

We’re appealing for witnesses to come forward following the arrest of a 26-year-old man on suspicion of two serious sexual assaults in Scunthorpe.

The incidents are both said to have happened in the area of Wells Street and West Street between 7.15am and 7.20am yesterday (Sunday, March 26).

In both cases the attacker fled after the women screamed.

Arson attack on fishing compound

Easington: Were you in the area?

We are making a fresh appeal for information about a potential arson attack on a fishing compound on Seaside Road, Easington.

On the evening of Saturday 25 February a fire broke out in the compound between 7.30pm and 8.30pm causing around £200, 000 of damage.

We are particularly keen to hear from the occupants of a small hatchback car which was seen outside the compound.
