Inconsiderate Parking around Schools (St Andrews and Broadacres)

For numerous years the Police and Hull City Council have received complaints regarding inconsiderate parking surrounding St Andrews Primary School and Broadacres Primary School.

The aim of the priority is to tackle inconsiderate drivers who park their vehicles on the yellow zig zag lines outside of St Andrews during the parking restriction period and those who block residents driveways outside of both schools.

To tackle this priority, the Police will be working closely with the schools to educate the children and the parents with regards the dangers of inconsiderate parking and the consequences.

The Police will also be working in partnership with Traffic Wardens to patrol outside of both schools, with the aim of challenging inconsiderate drivers and issuing Fixed Penalty Tickets where necessary.

    Vehicle Crime

Over the past month, the occurrence of items being stolen from vehicles has slowly increased again. Humberside Police is making efforts to combat these offences, which has resulted in the arrest of a male and property being recovered.

Humberside Police still has unidentified items yet to be claimed by their owners and we are encouraging people to come forward if they have had property stolen and not reported it. If you have been a victim then please ring DC 1421 Bradley at Clough Road Police Station on 101.

North Carr NPT is committed to ensuring our local community is aware of how to keep criminals at bay. We hope that people will remove the opportunity for thieves to strike, by moving valuables out of sight and shutting and locking their car windows and doors when not in use. By taking these simple steps, people dramatically reduce the risk of becoming victims of crime.

If you are a resident in the Kings Park area and would like to speak to an Officer with regards vehicle and home crime reduction, then please call the North Carr NPT on 01482 317158.
