Priorities / action taken

Updated
13March

Ings Lane - Environmental Issues (Fly Tipping & Rubbish)

After listening to members of the public complaining about the state of Ings Lane, this priority was set and will last over the next six months. The priority will be tackled by the varying partnerships but the Council Environmental Officers will be the lead and will prioritise work within this area. The work will consist of targeting persons allowing their dogs to foul the pavement, persons fly tipping and dropping litter, etc. The work conducted will be around educating offenders as well as prosecuting. The hedgerows will also be trimmed back in a hope of deterring any anti-social behaviour in that area and the local Neighbourhood Policing Team will increase patrols.

13March

St. Andrews Primary School - Parking Problems

Again, after listening to local residents who are suffering with parking issues around St Andrews Primary School, this priority was set and again will last over the next six months. The Council will be considering varying options in order to tackle this persistent problem and will work in partnership with the school and the Police.
