Poaching – This priority has come to an end as reports of poaching have stopped and the crops are growing preventing men with dogs using the fields. Over the winter months some 6 offenders were identified and are currently being monitored by Police and the Anti Social Behaviour Team.
Caravan Security – Over April officers have visited all the caravan sites and at Long Meadows a crime prevention and fire safety event was held. Owners were given advice and information on security and safety issues which was well received. This priority will continue into May.

CRIME remains at a low level within Holderness with no particular spikes and is general in nature. Violent crime and Burglary Dwelling are East Riding’s main priorities and officers from across the division are being used in Hot Spot areas to tackle these crimes and night time economy incidents. Crime prevention work continues with special events bike coding days. Our new Chief Superintendant has visited the Holderness Stations talking to staff and listening to our ideas and issues specific to our area.
