Anti Social Behaviour at Morrisons Supermarket Brough - – We have received complainants from residents living near to Morrisons and also from staff that groups of young people are gathering, acting in an anti social manner and causing disruption and inconvenience to shoppers and residents. This is happening most evenings.

Officers will be providing high visibility patrols in the area with a view to identifying the youths concerned and solving the current problem by deterring activity and dealing with any crimes by enforcement and evidence of anti social behaviour using the Fairway process.
February Update – Neighbourhood officers have liaised closely with the store and visited the site on almost a daily basis over the month. Youths, both on foot and in vehicles have spoken to by officers but no offences have been disclosed. We will continue with this priority.
March update – Neighbourhood officers continue to visit the area of the supermarket on almost a daily basis and a considerable amount of officer hours have utilised both in dealing with the youths and also liaising with the store and residents. A number of youths have been checked and one youth has been found to be in breach of his acceptable behaviour contract.
April update – we have continued with our regular patrols in the area and Morrisons have now fitted a security gate which appears to have had a positive effect. We have only had one call for service during April and as a result , this priority will be closed.
