Patrol times & areas
15September
Patrol times and locations
It is important that shift patterns reflect the needs of local people and demand to provide visibility and meet agreed priorities and problem solving. Neighbourhood Policing Teams, where appropriate, have developed a patrol strategy for their area agreed with the community, therefore public contact is increased beyond patrol in vehicles by attending meetings or key visits.
Our emphasis is on being accessible and visible to the public.
The local relationship and commitment to meet priorities through the local pledge will ensure that patrol times may be negotiated and agreed where appropriate.
