The Grangefield Estate, Winterton has been a cause for concern due to high levels of calls for service to the police and community issues. It is also known that many incidents go unreported.
The local policing team and partner agencies are working together to improve confidence. Regular ‘walk abouts’ on the estate are carried out to enable people to speak direct with the team. Ongoing work has highlighted a need for a community meeting place and the go ahead has been given for a new drop in centre on Hiles Avenue. A new community centre is also being built as a result of partnership working to enhance community relations.

Burton Curchyard
Young people are hanging around in Burton churchyard, littering, urinating, underage drinking and general rowdiness.
We did
Extra patrols in the area. Offenders spoken to and dealt with for any offences revealed. As a result a local resident and the church warden reported at the NAT meeting that the offenders had not been seen in recent weeks and the area had improved immensely. The team were thanked for their actions.

Motorists are parking on pavements and verges making it difficult for people to walk on the path and the verges are getting churned up.
We did
We have spoken to several motorists regarding obstruction of the pavement. In some circumstances a £30 fixed penalty has been issued. The North Lincs Council parking enforcement officers have also been made aware of these issues and do regular patrols in the area.
